Back in 1991, Ben sketched my home by hand, He, Sandor and the crew built for our family the home we still reside in. We raised our family here. I am a blessed man because I don't have any "war stories" to tell about the building process. Ben has helped us remodel along the way as well. He is truly gifted. I recommend him for his integrity and skill for doing beautiful and long lasting craftsmanship.

Reprise Construction is fantastic. Ben helped us work out the design and flow from our den into our new master suite. His crew repurposed old cabinetry for the bath and designed a sweet walk in shower. The craftsmanship and showmanship is spectacular. Ben's definitely our go to contractor and craftsman. Some time ago we had a wicked leak in the kitchen wall that damaged our cabinets. He rebuilt the cabinets using the original face frames to preserve the look and feel of the kitchen. The rebuilding work was impressive. His crew did a fine job on replacing the floors as well.

We chose Ben as the contractor for our home, because we trusted the quality of his building standards and years of experience. In addition to providing us a structurally sound home, he also made suggestions to improve the house plan we had selected to build. His window suggestions and plumbing modifications, and the accent features he added to parts of our home make us particularly appreciative of Ben’s hard work as our contractor and his input along the way. The suggestions seemed to be small changes at the time, but they really have made a significant difference in how we have been able to enjoy our home. Thanks, Ben!

Reprise Construction Services has been such a life-saver to us. Ben stood right by our side during our recent addition to our home, helping us in any way possible and offering his advice and expertise throughout the entire building process. He and his team have now stepped in to assist in building our new garage. They are an integral part of turning our visions into reality. We can't say enough about Ben's character and work ethic, his willingness to make time for us on our schedule, and his whole crew's down-to-earth demeanor. Our relationship with Ben and his team continues to grow, and we hope to utilize their services for all of our future home project needs.

As avowed preservationists, we find that one of the most difficult challenges is to arrange for contractors who understand and appreciate "the old way" of doing repairs and restoration. While the new and modern approach is often less expensive and experienced contractors are plentiful, their lack of respect for the historic methods is evident in the end result. Ben Bryan, Sandor, Gary and the entire Reprise team "get it" and consistently perform at the highest level throughout the entire restoration process.

The Pullen Starkes House c 1867, is located in The Oakwood Historic District, two blocks from the Governor's Mansion in Downtown Raleigh. Its successful deconstruction from five apartments and beautiful restoration back to a single family home resulted in the receipt of awards including a Sir Walter Raleigh Award by the City of Raleigh and an Anthemion Award by Capital Area Preservation.

When restoring the home, we faced many challenges finding appropriate contractors time and time again. One of the most difficult tasks was to restore a chimney which stood 15 feet above the 35 foot high steeply pitched roof and to completely rebuild a twin chimney which had long ago been demolished. Several masons passed on the job because of the complexity of the brick work. Others passed because of the precarious surroundings and work area 45+ feet in the air. Not to be deterred, Ben found specialty masons from West Virginia, that he brought to Raleigh to complete the chimney restorations. Within a few days the work was beautifully completed as if routine. The old chimney is as good as new and the new one looks exactly like the one constructed 150 years prior.

Ben's team has successfully completed restoration and new construction projects work for us in Historic Beaufort NC, Historic Downtown New Bern NC, The Oakwood Historic District in Downtown Raleigh NC and The West End Historic District in Downtown Winston Salem NC. We consider Ben our "go to guy" for any construction project we pursue.
